Thanks for the code, though really I need some way to deal with arbitrary NSImages.

In your code, there might be an issue (although I would think XCode would have warned you) with the "unLockFocus" method - I believe it is "unlockFocus" without the capital L

Ah, transcription error on my part. In the actual code it is indeed using the lowercase L.
