I may try the flipping of coordinates; if that works, it would be a much quicker method. I suspect, however, that it will have some unforeseen consequence I'm not expecting. (Well, I suppose it goes without saying that if I were expecting it, it wouldn't be unforeseen.)



I'm not saying you can't do it in layout; I'm just saying that it seems more appropriate to do at the view level. Generally speaking, view-level work is easier than layout-level work, so I'm not sure why you're disappointed.
