that's why when somebody asked how to load a text file into a
string, i copied how i do it in it's entirety, including converting
the file from whatever to unix format.
You won't find mailing lists where entire solutions are posted; after
all, that's for you to do. I hope you're not planning to build your
product(s) by cutting-and-pasting code from the list.
Take the answers on this list (and others) as guidance. It gives you
a good place to start and sometimes it is a bonus to have a few lines
of code to work from. You'll often see only pseudocode. As for the
ellipses, I often use that myself to keep e-mails to-the-point.
Nobody really needs to see all of the setup code since that's all
just noise and would detract from the problem at hand.
