Contextual Menu Plug-ins for Universal Binaries

Greetings All,

Are plugins for the Contextual Menu manager still supported under OS X, especially with the new Universal Binaries? We use to be able to create plug-ins that would add menu items to any contextual menu, in any program, as long as the API was handled correctly. For example, you could grab any picture the user control-clicked on. Is this features still supported on the current OS? Please direct me to the correct documentation and/or examples, because I can not find any information that is not terribly old.

Thank you,

Steve Sheets
