As some people on this list may own a copy of "Cocoa Programming for
Mac OS X". I wanted to mention that I have made an updated version
of the palettes exercise available:

I have had a few questions like, "When are you going to add CoreData
to the book?" The third edition is at least a year away -- I'm
hoping it will cover Mac OS X 10.5. (We do cover CoreData at the
ranch: http://www.bignerdranch.com/classes/ )
One of the common complaints about the book is that it does not talk
about how to design large, maintainable applications. March 20 -
24, John Graziano will teach our "Analysis and Design Bootcamp."
John Graziano was one of the developers behind Xcode and WebObjects
Builder. If you want to know how to build robust, reusable,
extensible, powerful, flexible, and intuitive applications, you
really should attend the class:

If your organization is historically Windows-based, your system
administrator may be a bit befuddled while adding Macs to the
network. Integrating Windows, Macs, and Linux machines can be
tricky, so send her to the "Mixed Network Bootcamp" April 24 - 28.
