No. Ink only recognizes the printed Roman Character set. No Japanese, Chinese, Korean, or Arabic. No math symbols. No Cursive. And no Geometric shapes!

Furthermore, there is no plugin architecture for you to add your own shape / symbol libraries or recognizers.

If you are trying to use Ink Services, or have an idea of something you would like to do, but the Ink API does not allow it, please please do the following:

1) File bug report / enhancement requests via Radar: <http:// radar.apple.com>

2) If you have DTS incidents, use them to ask how to do things that are not possible.

3) Continue to ask questions on these lists.
