NSViewAnimation with curved path

Hey,

I have just been playing around with NSViewAnimations (they are so cool!) and am wondering if it is at all possible to define a curved path for the animation to follow (say the arc of a circle, or a parabola). As far as I can tell, it seems that you can just get views to move in straight lines. Of course it is possible to break down a curve into straight segments but this would mean many tiny little segments if you want to get the curve smooth.

To clear up any confusion, I'm talking about a physical path that the view moves along, not the "animation speed curves".

Any ideas?

Cheers

Nik
