Definitely check out all the docs and tutorials (Currency Converter, NSPersistentDocument) if you haven't yet.

Of particular interest, when you option drag an entity to IB, you can choose to build a default interface for one or many objects: http://developer.apple.com/documentation/Cocoa/Conceptual/ NSPersistentDocumentTutorial/02_CreatingProj/chapter_3_section_4.html
