One of the functions of my app includes the scheduling of events and handling of waking the computer from sleep at event time. However if the user has the screensaver/wake password security enabled there is a prompt that appears when the computer wakes and my app can't get past it to do what it has to do. Is there a way to authenticate via my app so that prompt does not appear?

Does anyone have any ideas for a solution?

You could ask them to authenticate earlier, and set up a super-user helper app that kills the screensaver?
