If you want to build for both 10.4 (universal) and 10.3, you'll want to set a separate SDKROOT_ppc and SDKROOT_i386. See Apple's Cross- Development docs: <http://developer.apple.com/documentation/DeveloperTools/Conceptual/ cross_development/UniversalBinaries/chapter_4_section_1.html>
