Hmmm,, The core data is looking nice..
The issue I am having is reading blocks on blocks of code that I know
are talking to other objects and pulling from,, it's just readding it
ALL in pages of pages with no relation to see it all link up untill
compile time.. And even then all I get is text errors and little X
circles..
Welcome to the wonderful world of computer programming. You're not
likely to get much sympathy on a list full of people who've put a lot
of work into learning how to develop applications successfully. Like
any impressive skill, it takes a great deal of time and effort to
become good at.
That's not a sermon, but more like a commiseration. :-) It's
difficult, but if you want to do it, you're going to have to learn
like everyone else here. I suggest picking up an introductory book on
object-oriented programming, then an introductory book on Cocoa
development with Objective-C. This will get you started and make you
feel a whole lot better about all those lines of code. You can find
suggestions by searching this list's archives (it's been discussed to
death in the past).
I'll make a mock up I guess but it's more of an understanding of how
code it working visually more than trying to lessen the ammount of
coding I have to use to create an app.. But this is off topic I am
told so where do I send this ?
Search www.lists.apple.com - there's an XCode-specific list there
if you want to discuss adding this functionality to XCode. As to
discussing it in general, google around for an appropriate discussion
list; I have no specific suggestions.
Programers don't tend to talk on Forums enough to get any insite to
the inner workings of programming
It depends on the forum. You're currently discussing this topic on
a Cocoa-specific list. If it's not Cocoa-specific, it won't normally
be discussed here. If on the other hand you've got questions about
Cocoa, this is the perfect place to see developers discussing it. :-)
This, however, is not a list for general programming discussions,
which is why you don't see general tips-n-tricks style discussions.
