andrew,
thanx for the response. when i first got the exception and saw the
message, i did examine my memory management very carefully and walked
through it in the debugger. all seemed/seems well. the exception is
not repeatable which makes it hard to find. what i don't understand
is what i asked about in my original posting:
what is -[ABMetaDataController validateMetaDataIfNeeded]
and what is it doing in my stack trace?
