I agree. I added a note about the problems with the difference
between the recommendations, and how the Finder actually works, but
in the end I stripped it out of the message I sent to the list.
I think the most constructive thing to say about this is that if
you're not happy about how it works, or how it is documented - file
bug reports / enhancement requests! And do it quickly - the Leopard
is right around the corner!
