trackpad scrolling issue

  • Subject: trackpad scrolling issue

In order to process the new trackpad scrolling, I'm watching NSView scrollWheel events.
I'm getting events just fine. The problem is I'm getting lots of events with a deltaY of 0, for small movements. This is a float value, so why am I not getting 0.2 or something? Why just 0, as an event?

Anyone else seeing this kind of issue? Any workarounds? The new carbon events are promising, but I'm in Cocoa.

Unfortunately I do not actually have one of these machines, so I cannot test myself.
