I can do all that and then in the inspector window for File's Owner
attributes, I see a message "Not Applicable" instead of the list of
classes that appears in Figure 6-16 in the book, and I have not been
able to find any way around this. I have actually gotten to the same
point in a couple of other programs with the same result--I am stuck.


I don't have the book but it should be showing that "Custom Class" is selected in the pop-up menu at the top of the Inspector.
