flipping between tabs in tab view

I have created an NSTabView in IB for an inspector panel (where the views change based on the selected menu item). Is there some key combination to move to the next tab (in IB) when the tab view is transparent and tabless? When I make it tabbed again to switch tab views, all of the alignments get bonked.
