I need help on simple Sketch app and Cocoa bindings

I am a super newbe. I have read a bunch of books and publications on
cocoa, and a few that I could find for cocoa bindings

I want to simply make a circle that is moved via the mouse send xloc
yloc postion updates to  a text field .

Is there a place I shoudl start hacking at in the source for this, or
is it futile and shoudl be made from scratch ??
