Resizable inline images in NSTextView

I'd like to let the user resize images that they have dropped into an NSTextView subclass. I've considered doing something similar to the field editor and add a subview that draws the handles and does the resizing. Anyone have any thoughts about alternative approaches, gotchas, etc.?
