NSSlider mouseUp ????

Hi,

I was just playing around with an NSSlider. I want a sound to play whilst the slider is sliding, and then stop when the slider has stopped sliding. So I thought I would just play it in the mouseDown event, and then stop it in the mouseUp event. But the mouseUp event never fires!!!!!!!

How can i get some sort of notification that the slider has finished sliding??!!
