how it would affect the clipping issue but not sure how it would
relate to highlight drawing.
It is more just speculation. Let me know if it works out.
Unfortunately no, it didn't help. Any other suggestions?
I do need to set the background to nil, I just need to find a way got
the rows to behave properly (or at least redraw correctly) when the
row selection changes.
