Hi All,

I am developing an application that processes a collection of images and query each one to find out if it is a single color. In other words, is the image just a black (or red, or blue, etc.) rectangle?

I guess I can always do the query heuristically, comparing each pixel, but I've got to think that there's a better way. Has anyone got any suggestions, hints, or pointers to the best way to do this with NSImage or NSBitmapImageRep?

thanks in advance,

douglas
