No, I was suggesting that! It's just that I've already used the
array controller elsewhere in my app and for some reason I just
hadn't considered its use for this particular array.

It's not clear why you would not consider the use of an array
controller to manage an array?
This was meant as a serious question. If the documentation does
not make this clear, it should be remedied.
