CoreData - ManagedObjectModel Migration

My Wish

Within XCode I would like to be able to select 2 dataModels by highlighting them in the Groups&Files list. I would then like a report to be generated that displays all the differences between the 2 models. I want to be able to save this report to a file that I can print. The comparison report would be then used to write the glue code for handling the exceptions that are not handled by my generic methods for migrating from one version of the managedObjectModel to another.

My Question

Has anyone out there written a model compare program that reports the differences between 2 models? Although not too difficult to write there is no sense in re-inventing the wheel. Should this tool be added by Apple as an standard option in Xcode - and, sorry if it already exists but I can't find it.
