How can I avoid the presentation of "<MyObject 0x1234>" and just show whatever it was that was selected?

Are you using an actual property key to display the title, or relying on 'description'?
See, for example, <http://www.cocoabuilder.com/archive/message/ cocoa/2004/3/12/101445>.

mmalc

I was using a property key.
I must admit, I have a difficult time understanding which bindings to use. In the present instance, though I'm not using core data, I went back to the core data tutorial and tried copying the bindings, but didn't get the result I expected.

Thanks
