Palettizing NSWindow subclass

I am trying to palettize a subclass of NSWindow. I've got the window associated with another object (NSButton) successfully. But, as mentioned in a previous thread on this topic, I get an error when trying to use it:

"Exception pasting type IBWindowPboardType: <FNWindow: 0x5f5cb80> does not support archiving"

The previous thread mentioned the reasons for the error, which I understand, but it really didn't give much in the way of "how to do it." I've also searched the net to no avail. Is there sample code available that would show how to palettize an NSWindow subclass?
