Help in Disabling a menu

I am having an action called Lock,I need to change the menu item name to
Unlock after its action.Where would I call [menuItem setTitle:@Unlock];
I already test it on validateMenuItem to yes but the MenuItem Title is not
changing Dynamicly why?
How is it possible for me to change the ManuItem Name Dynamicly can I ?
