changing NSRulerView's size ?

hi there,

here what i'm try to do:

- resizing an NSrulerView retained by an NSScrollView. - resize that RulerView to 6 character string (i've done this, but just 2 character was visible)

i'd would know how an NSRulerView made resizable ?

why ?

just to have my text editor look like xCode coutline.
