Core Data Speed (XML vs mySQL)

  • Subject: Core Data Speed (XML vs mySQL)

Is anyone aware of the trade-offs between using xml vs. mysql stores? I'm specifically interested in speeding up the access time for Core Data requests and am wondering if at least the initial fetch could be sped up by using mysql over xml. Are there ways of speeding up Core Data fetches/updates in general?

Thanks.
