-[NSEvent window] for NSPeriodic event?

  • Subject: -[NSEvent window] for NSPeriodic event?
  • From: Jim Correia <email@hidden>
  • Date: Sun, 7 May 2006 21:09:56 -0400

The documentation says:
	window

Returns the window object associated with the receiver.

	- (NSWindow *)window

Discussion
A periodic event, however, has no window; in this case the return value is undefined.

Does this mean literally what it says? That the return value is undefined for NSPeriodic events and can be, among other things, a junk pointer?

Jim
