NSOutlineView and acceptsFirstMouse

Hi,
I cannot get NSOutlineView listen to acceptsFirstMouse:YES.
I see that the Finder lets you select a file and activate a folder window in
one click only, so I think there should be a way to do that.
Is anyone who knows how to do it?

Note: I tried to subclass both the NSOutlineView and its scroll view and
overwrite acceptsFirstMouse:YES, unsuccessfully.

Best Regards
