I see. new in 10.4.
I dont have 10.4 yet. So I dont know what to say... I do know that
scrollers in tableview act kind of crazy sometimes for no good
reason... they usually straighten themselves out after a click or
two...
You will see in any app made by apple that the little arrow buttons on
the vertical srcoller. sometimes the bottom one disappears until you
resize the window... been like that for a long time... even does that
on Xcode and Safari...
I would say its a bug in the scroller... Is that the scroller that you
added a NSScrollerCell sub class to?
Try running with out the custom cell.....
If it still acting crazy, on a guess I would say its a bug in cocoa
because of my experience with apple applications...
You might try playing around with the redisplay methods but those act
crazy sometimes too.,... or maybe I don't understand the fine points of
redisplaying a control?
sorry, maybe someone else has a better idea... I would be interested
to know, because I have trouble all the time with controls not
displaying properly... and I'm not doing anything out of the ordinary
like subclassing or anything like that.... Like I had a hell of a time
getting a barber poll to animate... worked for a while then quit... And
horizontal scrollers are terrible when they set for automatic... they
dont know when to display or not.... until you click it once or
twice...

Placard is the one which shows '0 of 0 selected' .....the one which is
