I am developing an application. There is a need to create sliders

Is it possible to create slider programmatically without using IB?
IF it is possible how we can create sliders programmatically?

Well, doing a simple search of the framework headers for the word "slider" would have shown that they can be created via both Cocoa and Carbon. For Cocoa, try looking in NSSlider.h; for Carbon in ControlDefinitions.h.
