Ambrosia Software, Inc. <http://www.AmbrosiaSW.com>, a 15 year veteran of the Mac software industry located in Rochester, NY, is looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Cocoa developer for MacOS X. Duties will include working on Ambrosia's award winning utility software products, as well as assisting the development of unreleased projects that are already in the works.

Ambrosia Software, Inc. offers a generous benefit package consisting of a fully employer-funded medical/dental plan (through BlueChoice), 401K plan with company matching (through AIM), optional bonuses, and flexible working hours. Our office is a large (6,000 sq ft) farm house located in Brighton, NY (a suburb of Rochester, NY) that was re- zoned commercially, making for a relaxed, enjoyable but professional environment. There are no cubicles here.

The ideal candidate to join our team of experienced MacOS X developers would be someone who has experience working on consumer software, expertise in the Cocoa frameworks, and is interested in a rewarding and challenging collaborative development environment. Compensation will be based on the skill set and the experience you'll bring to our development team. We're prepared to offer a competitive compensation package (including assistance with relocation) to the right candidate.

Requirements:

-- Strong knowledge of C/Objective C (C++ is a plus)
-- Several years of experience working with the Cocoa frameworks and Interface Builder
-- Ability to work closely with other developers and in a team environment
-- Experience developing a product from conception to shipping it
-- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience

Desired experience

-- Knowledge of the QuickTime APIs
-- Experience designing GUIs
-- Unix experience a plus
-- Experience using Subversion or other source code control systems

To apply, please send a cover letter, resume and salary history/ requirements to:
