Problems centering window

  • Subject: Problems centering window

I am trying to use NSWindowController to ensure that a particular window in my app is centered, but it is not working properly.

I have tried calling [[self window] center] at various points in the window controller subclass - windowDidLoad, loadWindow, showWindow, but with all of them I occasionally get a slight visual artifact whereby the window appears in its original location and immediately "jumps" to the centre of the screen.

Does anyone have any experience on how I could solve this?

Mike.
