Universal XML-RPC for Cocoa

  • Subject: Universal XML-RPC for Cocoa

I'm attempting to accomplish XML-RPC calls in Cocoa, but haven't found any good way to do so. So far, my favorite is the classes by Brent Simmons <http://ranchero.com/cocoa/xmlrpc/>. In order to build universal, I need to download the CURLHandle <http:// curlhandle.sourceforge.net/> and recompile with intel in mind. However, when I do this, I am told

Command /Developer/Private/jam failed with exit code 1
no object files loaded
can't open hostip.o (No such file or directory, errno = 2)

Has anybody else done this universally yet? And just FYI, it fails with the same errors using ppc-only, and /Developer/Private/jam does exist.

I am not a fan on the included WebServicesCore because it uses all sorts of ugly and hard-to-use Apple Events and whatnot.

So anyway, any tips?
