Using Objective C in a Finder "Contextual Menu plug-in"

Is there a way to use objective-c in a Finder Contextual Menu plug- in, I know they are written in Carbon, and I have the base of my Contextual Menu plug-in working, after adding some objective-c to the mix, the plug-in still works but causes the Finder to crash after the menu is released, not even on the menus I have added. It looks like it is getting an exception. Crash log below. I have tried to create a NSAutoreleasePool in a wrapper function that makes the objective-c calls. I want to reuse the code from the my app so I don't need to rewrite it. Anyone have any ideas how this could be done?
