Not sure if you are looking to do this for a personal Core Data app or a
distributed one but...

There is an app at:
/System/Library/CoreServices/Database Events.app

Which is Apple Scriptable and let's AppleScript interoperate with SQLite.
Maybe you can use this in some way?

I'm passing this on, but only cause I saw an AppleScript friend of mine show
it to me. I don't have any experience with it.
