Well, at least when I start XCode (fresh 2.3), open the
preferences, go to the Documentation tab and click on "Check for
update", it tells me that a documentation update is available and
asks me if I want to download it. I guess that means that the May
Documentation Update does in fact contain stuff not included in the
XCode 2.3 disk image. I'm currently downloading the doc update in
order to find out. ;-)
I have a feeling there's no difference, despite what Xcode prefs say.
I'm looking at the revision dates and "What's new" list in the Xcode
docs (as contained in the main download); the list of new articles is
the same, and the revision dates are the same, as in the online
reference library. Hmm...
