Could you elaborate? The docs might say that you should test for
specific functionality rather than assuming that it's present based on
the system version or something like that, but I don't think that's
relevant in this situation.

run time what SDK version I have been using during development?
Not really, no. There has been some discussion recently about the fact
there are no constants indictating the SDK version, which is probably
a regression since Universal Headers. (Actually, there's no real
versioning of the SDKs at all, which can be annoying for a variety of
reasons. I believe this was discussed at some length on the
xcode-users list, which is more appropriate for this sort of topic
anyway.)
