When you are teaching someone something, you have to tell them what you
are teaching them.
When you are helping beginners (in any field), you have to tell them
that you are just giving an example of xyz. Otherwise they are prone to
assume that you are giving them the answer to their original question.
..and if they can't work out that it's not the full answer when they
*try* it and find out it's not the full answer, they're probably in the
game to get paste-worthy code and not for the learning. Believe me,
they put that 'teaching' in my domain name for some reason...
[BTW, I also made the bold assumption that people who can write code in
one language can read it in another, not-too-dissimilar one otherwise
