Yeah, I really overlooked the point that I need to support 1.3. The
reason why I used coredata was that I need to create an application
that requires a lot of storing and retrieving of object in efficient
way. It's a library system. And my first tool was xcode, coredata is
jsut there and too good to be ignored. I guess I have to find some way
to do it without coredata now.

Why? Unless you need to support existing users, all of the data I've seen indicates that a Tiger only application would be successful. The Omni Group's statistics page (http://update.omnigroup.com/) is particularly useful here. But in general, from everything I've read from commercial Mac developers, users who would buy your software are also likely to have bought the latest in Apple software, including the OS. Of course I don't know the specifics of your application or the market it targets, but be sure to weigh the effort to redo your code without Core Data with the possibility of marginal Panther sales. My knowledge is merely anecdotal, so take it with a grain of salt.

P.S. Releasing an app that uses Core Data on Tiger and the other code on Panther would be nice for us Tiger users. :)
