Posting Global hot keys from a Cocoa app

I need to Post a Global Hot Key (i.e. Launch the dashboard) from my Application. I know what
the Key combination is, because I can read it from the pref file, but I don't know how to go about
posting the Key Combo event to the Finders Queue to actually show the dashboard. Is there any example
code for creating and posting this type of event? Or can anyone give me any insights into this?

Thanks.
