I use iBlog <lifli.com> and create a "private" blog about each program I am working. I keep categories for debugging and new Features. Each has an entry for a bug/feature. I keep a running account of the requirements, design and research into APIs (mine or cocoa) as I learn/remember about them. I paste in pdfs of UML diagrams. I paste in pseudo code. I save results of tests. I keep an agenda of what needs to be done.
I find the created blog often has usefulness long after I have finished with the item when I see the same symptoms of abnormal behavior or have similar requirements and need to remember the associated API and how to use it.
