I have inherited a project that is a hybrid Applescript/Cocoa application.

I would like to add features to this application but utilizing the QT Framework from Trolltech.

Are there particular features in this framework that you can't obtain using Cocoa? Perhaps if you described your end goal, list members could suggest a variety of ways of achieving the.

I would suggest that anyone who inherits the project after you might be a little overwhelmed if they have to deal with a mix of AppleScript, Cocoa and QT.
Also, since QT seems to leverage Carbon under the hood, you may run into difficult-to-debug issues when the two frameworks mix. QT may not be expecting to see Cocoa windows and menus showing up.
