An Audio CD doesn't actually have any file system name entries, they
are all synthesized by the cddafs module. When an Audio CD is first
inserted into the computer, the track names are left generic until a
Gracenote check is done that gives the track names. At this point the
CD gets the track names changed -- and there is no vestigial
reference to the old names in the file system.
The Finder is just another client of the changes. On subsequent
inserts, you may not even see the generic track names (at least I
don't in the Finder). Not relying on paths here really is the best
way to go.
