Cannot Access Data File

Hi, I'm new to Cocoa and XCode IDE.  Anyway, I have created a project
and added existing source files to it including the appropriate data
files to the source area of the tool.  However, when I run the
application (i.e Compile and Go). I cannot access the data file when
the application is ran.  Is there an additional step for adding data
files to a project?
