FetchRequest Template throw exceptions

Anyone know what I might have done that would make all my predefined fetch request templates (in XC data modeler), throw this exception:

*** NSRunLoop ignoring exception '*** -[_NSZombie forward::] not overridden!' that raised during posting of delayed perform with target 16f7060 and selector 'invokeWithTarget:'

After debugging a bit, it seems that the request, although minimally valid (pointers to sub objects such as the predicate exist) and no real data in it (everything is nil including the data in child objects). If I programatically recreate the template it works fine, I just can't seem to use predefined templates and I had up until recently. Any ideas?
