Drag from NSTableView to Finder / Outside of app?

  • Subject: Drag from NSTableView to Finder / Outside of app?

Hi all,

I'm trying to do two things:

A.) Perform a Drag and Drop from my NSTableView to the Finder.
B.) Perform a Drag and Drop from another NSTableView to anywhere outside the app to "poof" that data. (Similar to a sidebar entry in the Finder).

There seems to be quite a lot of confusion relating to this/these topic[s], especially in the way it was previously asked in several mailing lists, so I'm hoping to get a decisive answer from you guys!

Thanks [so much] in advance,
Brian Amerige
