[Report] Changing drag image during drag

  • Subject: [Report] Changing drag image during drag

[This never showed up the last time I posted, so trying again]

Is it possible to change the drag image being used when a drag is over one of my windows (it may have started in another app). I would actually like to hide the image completely as I can display the dragged object natively in my view and so showing the image as well gets confusing.

I found the following thread in the archives:
http://lists.apple.com/archives/cocoa-dev/2001/Sep/msg00963.html

This seems to imply that it isn't possible to do what I want, but maybe things have changed in the 5 years since then.

Matt Gough
