I've got my cocoa NSDocument app to the point where
I'm ready to open some old data files created with my
Classic OS 9 application. I thought I only needed to
add their OS Types in the properties Tab of Get Info
for the Target, but after doing this the files are
still not enabled in the Open File Panel. Any
suggestions on what else I need to do. Thanks.

Duplicate your app in Finder, that will cause the Launch Services database to re-scan it. If that doesn't help, you probably want to make sure you specified everything according to the docs.

Since I'm not psychic, I can't make any more suggestions. It would have helped if you'd actually given us some information on what you did.

Cheers,
